SPACE INVADERS
One of the most important video games in history, published in 1978 by Taito for arcade platforms with an 8-bit Intel 8080 CPU. The game is inspired by an ancient mechanical-digital gem from 1972 called Space Monsters, developed by the same company, and the influence on the gameplay dynamics of Breakout, created by Atari a few years earlier, is also notable. The objective is to shoot the Martian ships before they reach Earth. |
